Big Fall Color in a Little Package!
‘Burgundy Bunny’ Fountain Grass may be small, but it brings plenty of color to the garden. Its fine green foliage develops burgundy-red highlights through summer before turning a rich, deep red in fall. Soft, creamy bottlebrush-like plumes rise just above the foliage in late summer for even more seasonal interest.
Its compact size makes it especially useful for containers, edging, small gardens, and the front of sunny borders. It performs best in full sun, where you'll get the strongest foliage color and flowering, but it can tolerate some partial shade.
Good to Know: This is a true dwarf fountain grass, typically staying around 12 to 18 inches tall and wide. Once established, it can tolerate periods of drought, and maintenance is simple: cut the old foliage back in late winter before new growth begins
