Striking from Leaf to Flower!

‘Red Tiger’ Canna brings bold color to the garden before it even begins to bloom. Its large tropical-looking leaves are striped with creamy yellow and green, creating a dramatic backdrop for the cherry-red flowers that appear above the foliage in summer.

Plant it in full sun for the best flowering, although it will tolerate some afternoon shade. Cannas appreciate rich, moist soil and handle our summer heat well, making ‘Red Tiger’ a standout for borders, mass plantings, containers, or anywhere you want a tropical accent.

Good to Know: Cannas grow from underground rhizomes and can form larger clumps over time. ‘Red Tiger’ is hardy in our Lowcountry growing zone and may die back during winter before returning from its rhizomes as temperatures warm.
