About the event
Scent & Sensibility: A Fragrant Garden Workshop with Brad Fowler of Clemson Extension
Design a garden that smells as dreamy as it looks. Brad will walk you through layering fragrance from morning to moonlight—think citrus blossoms at breakfast, gardenias at dusk, and night-bloomers that turn the porch into a perfume counter. We’ll cover right-plant/right-place, pruning for scent, containers vs. trellises, and Lowcountry-tested picks like tea olive, jasmine, white ginger lily, and rosemary.
What you’ll learn
Seasonal “scent calendar” for continuous bloom
Placement tips (paths, windows, seating) for maximum waft
