About the event
Breathe in fall at Wild Goose Flower Farm—rows of color, big skies, and that first hint of cooler air. We’ll tour the fields with owner Alexis Rehbaum, then settle in for a picnic-style lunch before crafting a lush, hand-tied bouquet straight from the beds.
What we’ll do & learn:
Farm fundamentals: site + soil prep, sun and spacing, succession planting, and crop rotation—how a small farm keeps flowers coming week after week.
Smart selections for the Lowcountry: seasonal workhorses, favorite fillers, and foliage that make bouquets sing.
Harvest & conditioning: when to cut, how to hydrate, and simple tricks for long vase life.
