Dr. Patrick McMillan - wildflower Workshop

I'd like to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful wildflower workshop we had here at the Charleston Horticultural Society.
Last week, on a vibrant and sunny Monday morning, our horticultural enthusiasts gathered at our beautiful society garden for a day filled with joy, learning, and exploration of the stunning world of wildflowers with Dr. Patrick McMillan. What a wealth of knowledge he was! We made a “makeshift mural” for him (the first) and wouldn’t you know? He had to erase it for his slideshow….oh well, A for Effort!

If there's one thing we took away from our wildflower workshop, it's this: there's much more to these seemingly delicate flowers than meets the eye. Behind their fragile beauty lies an intricate world rich with history, culture, and remarkable adaptations. So, fellow flower enthusiasts, let's cherish and protect these wild wonders as we stride forward on our botanical journey, fueled by the power of flowers and guided by the wisdom of Dr. Patrick McMillan.
Until we meet again, keep blooming and have a wild time exploring the floral tapestry that surrounds us all! Plant List can be found here.
